The Senior Director of Product Management partners with cross-functional teams (i.e., engineering, sales, customer success, content, and marketing) to build and execute Pluralsight's data & platform roadmap.

They are the owner of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for product work across data & analytics, common services, data science, API integrations, and plan management functionality. They will be responsible for all product teams that help our customers purchase, onboard, integrate, and receive insights from our product!

As a leader in this area, you will play a large role in improving customer adoption, engagement, and overall success of the product for our most important customers.

What you'll do:
  • Lead, inspire, and coach a talented group of product managers
  • Synthesize company strategy, customer needs, and competitive activity to create a vision and strategy for our platform and data
  • Influence senior leaders and executives to gain alignment, secure resources, and overcome obstacles
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to establish milestones that balance the development of new product capabilities with security, operational, and/or regulatory risks
  • Define and execute against metrics that contribute to business outcomes for our customers and business; use data to drive and execute the roadmap
  • Influence end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, performant and scalable technology solutions
  • Drive roadmap execution and cross-platform teamwork to build the most valuable product for our users
  • Improve product delivery by developing operations, processes, frameworks, and resources that can be scaled across organizational boundaries

Experience you'll bring:
  • 5-8+ years of management experience leading other product managers
  • 5+ years of end-to-end SaaS product delivery experience
  • Proven experience working with ambiguity and being able to build a strategic direction and roadmap
  • An ability to lead multiple complex projects and workstreams, simultaneously

Requirements:
  • Direct experience in product management or related experience shipping products to the market in a SaaS environment
  • Experience managing or leading a team of Product Managers for SaaS products
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and collaboration skills
  • Organizational skills with servant leadership attitude
  • Ability to form a product direction by leveraging inputs like competitive analysis, VoC, business reviews and business goals
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and product strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, execute, and own a product strategy and roadmap
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to align around prioritization decisions
  • Strong experience using analytics to inform and communicate data-driven product strategies

Education and experience requirements
  • Requires a minimum of 10 years of related or equivalent experience; or 8+ years and an advanced degree
  • Requires having been a people leader at a senior level
