The Opportunity

The Infrastructure Asset Management team at Adobe is responsible for partnering with internal customers regarding all aspects of budget planning, spend execution, and reporting in the Telecom, Hardware, and Colocation spaces.

The IAM Planning Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful relationships with our internal partners including leadership, finance, and technical partners. The successful candidate will use their accounting, operations, service delivery, and relationship skills to ensure that company financial and execution expectations are being met. They will balance multiple priorities depending on the project, task, and/or issue at hand and will have direct inputs to shape and to improve team processes.

This is an individual contributor position and reports to the Senior Manager of the Infrastructure Asset Management team.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with business leaders to develop a deep understanding of the business, provide support through financial modeling, and provide analysis and critical insight on business initiatives.
  • Partner with our Bandwidth Category lead, procurement, and technical teams and suppliers on order and delivery execution, invoice review and submission, and billing disputes in the bandwidth space.
  • Lead organizational spend forecasting, budget execution, and support our finance partners in month-end close activities and other ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Build data driven models to drive business decisions and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Work with business owners and finance to accurately reflect costs in forecasts and budgets.
  • Partner with our Private Cloud lead to validate and approve monthly invoices, pass-thru expenses, and true-up's including service credits, earn backs, and MRC/NRC's.
  • Ensure compliance with all Adobe mandated policy requirements.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technology space.
  • Understanding of common accounting principles such as Capex, Opex, Prepaid accounting, Depreciation, and forecasting.
  • Solid understanding of spend management, category strategy development, and procurement essentials.
  • Experience specific to the telecom bandwidth space will be beneficial.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in areas mentioned above
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with building and maintaining effective relationships with vendors, customers, peers, supervisors, and internal company resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter that can independently drive multiple tasks simultaneously to completion.
  • Experience driving desired outcomes with suppliers.
  • Experience ensuring both service and quality levels are adequately maintained.
  • Adaptable to constant change, re-shuffling priorities as needed, and experience leading continuous improvement efforts.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $74,200 -- $143,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
