JOB TITLE: ASC Administrator (Alta View Surgery Center)
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Administrator is responsible for the administration and supervision of all aspects of operations for the designated ASC and is accountable to the Regional Vice President and/or Director of Operations for coordination of all services provided.
REPORTING: Regional Vice President (RVP)- Operations, Director of Operations. The ASC Administrator also reports to the Governing Board of the ASC.

Major Functions and Responsibilities:
The main function of the ASC Administrator is that of leadership and promotion of cooperative staff effort, with a focus on high-quality and effective patient care that is in alignment with the facility's and overall organization's goals.
The ASC Administrator is responsible for the allocation and completion of assigned functions in daily operations. She/He interprets and implements departmental philosophy, objectives, policy and procedure.

Education and/or Experience:
* Current Registered Nurse License and/or Master's related field (preferred)
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to
interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust the focus.
Occasionally excessive strength to restrain confused or combative patients during and after
anesthesia induction.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and with explosives and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and risk of radiation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal busy office environment with much telephone work. Occasional evening or weekend work.
