Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.Sanpete Valley Hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare for Sanpete County, including general surgery, imaging, respiratory, EKG, sleep studies, lab services, OBGYN, as well as technology-driven telehealth services such as tele-oncology to help patients stay close to home for their care. Minimum Qualifications
- Current RN License in the state of Utah.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- (Applicants must either have required additional certifications (e.g. ACLS, PALs, NRP) upon hire or must obtain them within a specified timeframe determined by service line and department guidelines.)
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
- Surgical RN experience.
