Basic Function

HF Sinclair in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a Salesforce Business Lead who will be responsible for evaluation, developing and implementing effective system platforms for our sales business, in order to accelerate the development of our Commercial Marketing's Salesforce instance and applicable apps. This role acts as the primary liaison for all Salesforce related initiatives, on behalf of the Marketing business.

Job Duties

(functions considered essential as defined by ADA)

  • Provides leadership, support, and guidance to the Sales leadership team regarding Salesforce platform, in order to streamline processes and visibility across the business
  • Collaborates with the Region Managers, Sales Reps, C&P and others to prioritize the enhancement requests and projects, from the business, as they relate to Salesforce.
  • Creates Salesforce Dashboards and launch Salesforce enhancements globally including leading user acceptance training for all enhancements.
  • Conducts workshops and Salesforce Training for all employees under the Sales and Marketing umbrella, to build knowledge and functionality in the CRM system
  • Creates and launches a Salesforce Library to ensure all training resources are easily accessible
  • Drives Salesforce business decisions and define growth strategy for the application
  • Requirements gathering and blueprinting of continuous enhancement requests, from the Marketing departments, to provide a funnel for the business, as well as to ensure the needs of the business are addressed in a streamlined fashion.
  • Acts as the point person for HFS Salesforce users, to communicate updates, assist in troubleshooting and/or customization of views in the CRM system
  • Acts as the Business Owner for Salesforce, ensuring that the higher-level organization objectives are being met through enhancements and changes to the CRM system.
  • Acts as the liaison between IT and executive leadership to present new ideas, and to prioritize business enhancement requests specific to the CRM platform.
  • Liaises with business stakeholders and Business Analyst to evaluate, develop, and implement system platforms that directly support the Sales functions.
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of our learning management system and license for our Distributor network.
  • Manages the data integrity while improving the flow of work
  • Reviews and creates Salesforce reports for the business and provide quarterly documentation to Audit and Sox for compliance
  • Provides various marketing reports and Salesforce database information
  • Provides recommendations for process improvements within, Salesforce and related apps.
  • Provides conflict resolution for both employees and customers
  • Suggests development of Salesforce initiatives and programs, train marketing staff on new items
  • Determines work procedures in Salesforce, sets priorities, and prepares work materials
  • May manage the organization of major customer events and attends industry functions
  • May serve as department representative on system development initiatives (e.g. Salesforce, DocuSign)

Experience

A minimum of eight years related work experience is required.

Education Level

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business technical discipline.

Required Skills

The ability to act as a technical advisor in the implementation of new and existing processes and to stay abreast of new technology, developments and processes is essential. Working knowledge of Salesforce, DocuSign and Microsoft products required. Advanced critical and entrepreneurial thinking. Ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbal and the ability to perform mathematical calculations at the intermediate level.

Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, twisting, stooping, kneeling, talking, hearing, reaching, grasping, and making precise hand and finger movements, the ability to wear personal protective equipment (beards not permitted). Job conditions may require lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs and climbing up to 50ft.
