The Endowed Chair, Psychotherapy Institute Director leads a Community Collaborative for Evidence Based Behavioral Health Psychotherapy treatment aimed to improve overall efficacy, efficiency and outcomes for patients in care. They work to align clinical practices within the organization as well as with external community-based organizations with the best available research to improve outcomes for clients.

Leads and develops a program to promote standardization of evidence-based practices both internally within Intermountain Health and externally with our community partners. Leads the initial implementation of this new community collaborative and shapes this collaboration from the outset of the program.

Works to influence and transform leadership approaches and uses strong interpersonal skills and dedication to consumer-centric care approaches. Focuses on equity, innovation, and outcomes-driven care, and integrates into the Intermountain Health Canyons Region Behavioral Health Leadership team. Additional opportunities may include donor development (in conjunction with the Intermountain Foundation) and collaboration with academic settings.

Demonstrates facilitative leadership skills in the application of implementation frameworks and provides effective accountability to integrate research-based practices across clinical teams within Intermountain Health and with community organizations. Under the direction of the Intermountain Behavioral Health Clinical Programs team, oversees the work of a clinical quality team in the identification, implementation, and maintenance of evidence-based treatments. Through utilization of outcome data and implementation of pilot projects, leads improvement in existing practices and targets specific clinical shortfalls that interfere with client improvement. Leads efforts to refine and manage organizational infrastructure necessary to ensure coachable and aligned staff are hired, existing staff are adequately trained and receive high quality supervision and adhere to the fidelity principle in the delivery of evidence-based practices. Provides ongoing consultation to teams in the outcome performance of the clinical area of the agency.

Location

This role requires in-office time and must reside in, or being willing to relocate to, a state where Intermountain Health provides service (UT, ID, NV, CO, WY, MT).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current license as psychologist or mental health clinician.
  • Experience in behavioral health, including experience in management/leadership.
  • Experience and demonstrated success in implementation science practices and evidence-based treatment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact across clinical, academic, and community-based settings.
  • Experience and demonstrated success working within complex environments, working independently yet collaboratively, program development and experience with change management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctorate or Master's Degree in behavioral health services related field.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in behavioral health, with a minimum of two in management/leadership.
  • Experience with raising and/or managing external funding including data management, grant writing, budget management, and project reporting.
  • Experience with training behavioral health clinicians.
  • Strategic planning experience

This is an exempt, full-time position. Pay will be determined by prior years of relevant experience. In addition to the annual salary, to show our commitment to you and assist with your transition into our organization, we may offer a sign-on and relocation bonus when applicable. With this position, you are eligible to participate in the Annual Pay for Performance (AP4P) Plan. This plan enables Intermountain Health to provide leaders with an additional performance compensation opportunity. The AP4P award opportunities are calculated as a percentage of your base salary. Awards are paid out based on attainment of selected Board-approved goals.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$57.18 - $88.26
