Deb Ferns, MBA, is the Co-Founder and Camp Director of Babes with Bullets. She shot her first handgun on her 45th birthday and after a few years of struggling to find any female instructors (or even any women to shoot with) she joined forces in 2004 with Lisa Munson and Kay Miculek, who are both with world and national shooting sports titles, to create Babes with Bullets. Ferns is a event producer for the railroad industry and brings those same skills to producing the Babes camps. She is an active multi-gun competitor, teaches Hatha yoga in her spare time and resides in Tucson, AZ, with her husband, Gary.
